The story picks up somewhere between the original movie and the second, where you will follow the story of many different mercenaries, scientists and researchers as they explore the intriguing world of Jurassic Park. The game rather decides to go with an Until Dawn sort of storytelling method, where your choices dictate who you will control.
However, it leads to a lack of cohesion and an inability to establish characters who fans can care for. Then with regards to the gameplay, this is probably the most competent aspect of this title. The game uses the standard Telltale format, the branching paths and the usual UI to drive the story. The camera angle and laboured clue checking functions are a little disappointing but as a whole, the presentation and the functionality of the game itself is definitely the strongest aspects of the game.
Which is a little disappointing in and of itself. Overall, Jurassic Park: The Game is a Telltale game which sticks to the formula but fails to deliver a great final product.
